Lando Norris, the recently crowned 2015 MSA Formula Champion, will compete in the 2016 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with Carlin.
Norris made his championship debut in the 2015 Autumn Trophy, shortly after turning 16, and he made an immidiate impression by winning two of the four races at brands Hatch. Prior to MSA Formula and BRDC British F3, the Bristol-born youngster won the 2014 Ginetta Junior Rookie Cup.
Norris is one of the most exciting talents in British motorsport, with his victory in the 2014 CIK-FIA KF World Championship making him the youngest karting world champion in history. Prior to that, he won the WSK Euro Series and claimed the CIK FIA European and CIK FIA Supercup titles in 2013. He stepped up to car racing in the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2014, alongside his karting commitments, where he finished as top rookie and third in the overall standings.
Prior to the start of the season, Norris commented: "I’m very happy to be with Carlin again in 2016. We had a great season together this year, I learnt a huge amount and had a great time with the team as well. 2016 will be a busy season, but it will be nice to have the continuity of working with Carlin and racing on British tracks again in the BRDC British F3 Championship.”
